Apple Pay for merchants

What do you like best?

I like that it is available and with me wherever I go. It is convenient to not have to carry a wallet with you everywhere. It makes paying at a store or online very quick and simple. You never have to worry about the magnetic strip or chip wearing out either. I was skeptical when it first came out but I have seen recently that thinking that way was a little unfounded. I am happy to use Apple Pay now.

What do you dislike?

I have run into an issue a couple of times when my card was up for renewal and/or I was upgrading my devices where it was a little tempermental when it came to updating my information. It ended up that I had to do a combination of on the computer and then on my device and even then it was still finicky. I think in the end I had to completely remove it and then re enter it. Again it was a little annoying but all in all I have no complaints.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

As much as you can make sure that all your information is entered correctly and linked with all import accounts, otherwise it can be cumbersome to deal with. Every once in while take a look at what you are paying with Apple Pay and what Automatic payments you may have set up.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Again the main problem that I am solving by using Apple Pay is not having to carry a wallet with me. Just one less thing to worry about losing. The other benefit that I like about it is because a lot is being done with my phone these days, because it is in my Apple Wallet, any online purchases I do not have to pull out my card or memorize the card information and that makes shopping online much more convenient.
