Advanced user of Ansys SpaceClaimAs fast you can think with same speed you can make quick changes. This is not possible with other CAD software. It's not history base , so you can delete reference planes or other entity after purpose gets served. You can record scripts of your model and with litle changes you can create new model within no time.It's very much user-friendly and you can open any type of CAD files in Spaceclaim.Also you can fix /repair surface models with imperfect surfaces. Repair tool is very powerfull you can correct edges, surfaces etc. You can remove all interferences in one click.You can create imprints with special tab given.
In space claim with units system mm max fillet radius you can give is 0.1 mm. So if you have to give fillet radius less than 0.1mm you need to change unit system .
1. We are using Ansys for preprocessing each and every model.
2. We correct our surfaces models in space claim.
3. We are using Space claim to create . sTL file with requires quality as an input for water management simulations. Space claim is fastest to create this kind of files, we have compared all our CAD tools with Space claim and Space claim is quick and it creates same quality file with less disk size.
