In different plans I offer ad-free versions of my podcast, bonus episodes, discounts for the shop or early access to tickets for live shows. Steady helps me to finance my podcast by asking my community for support. Before using Steady, I tried to collect money via a donation button on my website. Many of my listeners gladly supported me with donations, but I realized that offering memberships via Steady is a more sustainable way to earn money as donations are a one time thing whereas my members are very loyal and support me on a monthly basis. This way, I can keep doing what I love while staying independent.
