Never thought I needed it, now I couldn't live without it!
What do you like best?
One stop shopping. It truly does it all. Accounting, rent roll, repairs, messaging, marketing..... I'm in heaven with Hemlane. In my slowest time of year, mid-west winter, even with COVID, I'm booked solid two months in advance.
What do you dislike?
Well, sometimes I'll push a button, to do a task. Nothing will happen. But if I refresh, it usually works. But I do it all on iPhone, not a laptop. Plus.... their tech support is on-shore and SUPER friendly and effective. Any trouble, or simple question, they're so happy to help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My advice to new users..... FORCE yourself to get through the initial on-boarding of existing tenants. You can thank me later. After that, it's SMOOTH SAILING.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Well I summarized already..... but my occupancy is up, rent collections are up, retention is up, customer satisfaction is way up!
Plus, no more late night calls or texts. Truly, I'm loving it.
And on-boarding new tenants is a BREEZE (loading existing tenants is a little tedious). So tenants FIND us with Hemlane, PAY via Hemlane, FIX PROBLEMS via Hemlane, SEND FRIENDLY MESSAGES via Hemlane. Another way to say it....Hemlane has strengthened the bond between landlord and tenant.
