Oracle Forms developer can create complex web apps with little knowledge of javascript/css
What do you like best?
the rich user interface component plugins and more then triple the amount of events you can trap. with a few metadata settings you get out of the box complex widgets. I can make better apps then using oracle forms or vanilla apex. Most important is the dynamic content loading to work on multiple pages at once.
foex team provides great examples on how to use.
online help is great. they coach you along to work thru a problem or go beyond the limit of the component.
What do you dislike?
reference guide and online help could be expanded upon. When a need to go more advance, need for advance documentation.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
multiple page content, complex user interfaces without the need to be expert web developer. I can utilize my oracle pl/sql knowledge and get 99% there. Very little jquery or javascript needed.
