It encourages micromanagement from higher ups because it tracks every dial made and talk time. Additionally, there were times that it wouldn't work so it hurt your numbers when you had to use your actual cell phone instead.
It creates an easy to use solution for communication between clients and internal employees. Additionally, it mitigates the need to use cell phone for work and creates a barrier between my personal life and work.
