Advanced user of GeneralCOST EstimatorThis Excel Addin is pre-populated with many unit cost items which could easily have an inflator applied to them for future use.
It is limited in that it only supports the 16 divisions of CSI Masterformat and is no longer consistent with typical commercial design and construction.
This is an easy to use product for light commercial or residential projects. I've used it to calculate buildouts of commercial lease spaces
This is a good tool for smaller General Contractor Design/Build work where the specification sections would not pose a significant limitation.
