Simple interface, simple pricing, and packed with features
What do you like best?
The price for service is the best feature of 8x8 Express. I shopped around for what seemed like forever for a decent priced business phone line. I just needed something for myself. I own a small business so I didn't need multiple phone lines. While shopping around I noticed that other providers charge you more money for phone service if you only need a single line. 8x8 Express not only had the best price for a single line but they also included an extra phone number for free. One of the lines has the ability to send and receive text messages which is great for quick communications with clients or for SMS marketing. They have a desktop application for my laptop and also an Android app so I can make and receive calls and texts for my business while I'm on the go. Another great feature is a private meeting space so I can hold video conferences or calls in the app as well. Anyone invited to the meeting gets a link to join the meeting and they don't even need 8x8 service or an account with them to attend the meeting. The admin panel is amazing too. I can customize just about anything by logging in on my web browser and some of the settings are able to be adjusted right in the application itself.
What do you dislike?
The only thing that I don't like is the way the billing works. They didn't bill me for the first month and then sent an invoice for 54 days of service, and I wasn't expecting that at all. After that, it has been ok. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I'm saving a ton of money each month on phone service for my small business. Some months I hardly make or receive calls at all. Some months my phone line gets quite a workout. Regardless of my call volume, my phone bill stays around the same amount each month.
