Great Tool to Manage Any References

What do you like best?

Zotero allows for fast and easy compiling, organizing, and exporting any needed or used references for a project. The program allows for users to keep seperate collections of references, ensuring the quick ability to keep on top of your sources. Their search and tag functions make it even easier to redefine or sub-define sources, allowing for the location of sources to be swift.

What do you dislike?

Unfortunately, Zotero can be challenging to navigate due to its compact design and clustered interface. It can also be difficult to remove attachments within the application (this is a problem in terms of available space on the cloud storage). One fast way to conteract this problem is to delete all files, but that can introduce problems on its own.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I definitely would recommend using Zotero; it takes all of the pain out of writing, organizing, and exporting the citations needed for any project.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main problems we solve with Zotero include organizing and categorizing the references for our website, articles, and essays. Being able to keep all citations and sources in one location, such as Zotero, is a real time saver, and allows for that precious time to be focussed elsewhere.
