Recommendations to others considering the product:
I was very happy with Zenefits... until I needed something. If you're a small company looking to implement your new HR system, and your budget is tight so you can't afford a larger platform, Zenefits is NOT FOR YOU, I suggest you wait until you can pay for a more reliable partner.
Everything will be fine until inevitably, an issue arises and you need customer support. Then, you'll pay the price for being a small business. We small business have small teams wearing many hats, and therefore we need great partners. Partners that are going to take us by the hand and respond promptly with solutions. Do not expect a fast response from customer service. Do not expect your response to be good once you receive it weeks or months later. All the contrary, they've just made it harder for you to contact customer service in the first place.
I still have tickets open from last January or February and I've got 2 "responses", both saying that my tickets were assigned to a specialist, and that they'll be contacting me. Never happened. Too bad I had just renewed for another year.
The system in general will do the minimum but the features are too basic, and the reporting is horrible. The integration with QuickBooks unusable for real mapping and labor/project expense tracking. Not a good format for data manipulation.
Again, if you need help, look elsewhere.
