What do you like best?
1.Scriptless automation tool - very helpful for non programmers.
2.Works with many interfaces - SAP,Web , windows ,java, silverlight , mobile
3.Follows record and playback approach
4.Data driven testing is supported
5.Good customer support is provided for worksoft
6.Advanced reporting ,analytics and document generation. Reports are very clear with detailed test steps, screenshots , test data.
7.Supports continuous integration
8.crossbrowser and platform support is provided.
9.Enables integration with leading devops and HP ALM
What do you dislike?
1.Worksoft certify is not very robust in identifying objects for web applications.
2.Application versions had to be modified to support all kinds of applications to learn objects correctly.
3.Validation in PDF forms is not great.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall , worksoft certify is a good tool for non programmers to start with.
Considering the flexibility and benefits of using it , this tool is highly recommended
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
1.I am currently working on web applications with worksoft certify and faced few issues in recognizing objects.
I contacted the worksoft community team and they were able to update the XF definitions.
2.Learning PDF forms was a challenge and I learnt that we need to use Adobe Acrobat DC 8.0 or above to support working with PDF forms.
