Wild West Domain Registration

What do you like best?

My company uses this primarily for the reseller aspect. We create websites for people and 9 out of 10 times they haven't registered their domain yet. We send them to our styled reseller site and instruct them to purchase their domain. The best part is that they pay Wild West/GoDaddy directly and they have their own account and own the domain. We can use our reseller account to access some info and assist if they need it. This definitely made things easier than being a middle man and registering the domain under our own account.

What do you dislike?

I've only had to use support a few times, but I'd say they are adequate at best. I haven't seen the availability of all the TLDs yet. I also just don't like the fact it's GoDaddy but with another name, why not just offer these services on GoDaddy?

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are implementing from a reseller standpoint or are trying to setup a site/server hosting billing environment, make sure there are integrations if you use particular ordering software (like WHMCS) for the product. If you are using this to register your own domains, you might as well just use GoDaddy since it's all in the same anyway.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We solved getting our clients their domain names through the reseller option available with Wild West Domains. It has benefited us by generating additional income that we don't have to follow up on or chase.
