Excellent browser

What do you like best?

Vivaldi is easy to use and the browsing experience is very smooth. Compared to other browsers, the RAM usage and disk usage are less when you have multiple tabs open. This allows long periods of use without having to stop what you're doing and restart the browser. I'm a huge fan of how customizable Vivaldi is as you can download any extension from the Chrome Web Store that interests you to further enhance your surfing experience without compromising performance.

What do you dislike?

After one of the recent updates, Vivaldo no longer allows you to upload custom images for tab backgrounds. It's also slightly annoying that in every few updates, some of the options and the menus are moved around and are difficult to locate until you get used to them.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Even though it's not as popular as Firefox and Chrome, Vivaldi still delivers as a browser. It's based on Chromium, so you can expect it to see many familiar features that you would in Chrome. I would say it's a great secondary browser if you're someone who wishes to keep personal and work use separate on the same computer.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I use a low spec laptop for work and while other browsers struggle to run without freezing after prolonged use, Vivaldo works like a charm. What makes Vivaldi an excellent, yet underrated browser, is that due to its low RAM and disk usage, it can be used alongside any other software that you use for work without any lag or disruptive issues. It's quite trust worthy as it's source code is public and there are fewer concerns of security attacks since it's more of an underground browser. One of my favorite features of Vivaldi is that you can sync devices. You can access your data and bookmarks on mobile. Additionally, in cases where you find a website on your mobile that you want to view on your PC or vice versa, there exists an option to send it to a synced device. This is very convenient when you're browsing for something when you're not within reach of your computer and want to view it on the computer later.
