Except for the pricing model, still the best solution for me
What do you like best?
- Firm, competent contact person and rapid response
- Sufficiently flexible design options and, in comparison, very good appearance (except for IAB, as standardised)
- Most service providers are already stored and can be used with one click
- Regular updates of legally compliant texts and information
- A well-stocked Knowledge Space that explains the most important things in an entertaining and comprehensible way
- Applicable according to IAB
- Several languages are possible, as well as A/B tests and cross-device tests
- A scanner that regularly checks the website and draws attention to items that have not been added
What do you dislike?
- Highly priced compared to other service providers, and the pricing model is counterproductive for companies that want as much traffic as possible on their site.
- Some functions are still in the beta phase or complicated to implement, but there is a lot happening and feedback is responded to well (compared to others, still a tad better, as they often do not offer the functions at all).
- A cache and planned release should be possible, currently everything is implemented directly and goes live.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- I remain convinced that I made the right choice. I would recommend everyone to always give feedback because it will be taken into account.
- In addition, besides the functionalities, the implementation is also an important point, and here too UC had convinced us the most with both the documentation and the implementation itself.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
- We finally have an overview of all the services and tools we use; previously, a legally compliant list was not possible at all.
- Obtaining and documenting consent is possible in a legally compliant manner, there is no alternative or do-it-yourself option.
- Since most of the services are stored, the effort to find out the data on storage & co. is significantly less.
- We have to work IAB-compliant, which works perfectly with User Centrics.
