User Friendly Once You've Taken the Time to Explore the System
What do you like best?
I like that everything is now all in one portal. The old Kronos system showed you time punches only. You had to go to a different place entirely to look up paychecks and other HR information such as hourly rate, PTO/EIB info, as well as accruals such as how much PTO you earned per pay period. There used to be multiple platforms that had different functions. You now have one login with one central location to find everything.
What do you dislike?
I'm still not used to the way that PTO has to be requested. If you want to ask for time off six months from now, you must submit the request to have those dates saved. Once you submit the dates and it is approved, your PTO comes out for the time you've futuristically requested. But then you cant use PTO in your bank for current dates off because I'll need it for later, vs. not taking the PTO until the pay period that I need it.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The PTO issue is the only problem I've had with the platform thus far. My manager and I realized that if I request future dates off, she can "acknowledge it" but wait to approve it until the pay period I am asking for so that my PTO is not taken prematurely, keeping me from using it now.
