Ubiquity helped me set up my 1st 401k as a business owner. As a small business owner, it was a bit scary to jump into benefits, not fully knowing the impact it woudl have on my business. The customer service reps and professionals at Ubiquity walked me through all my options with dilligence and understanding. Really felt like they were trying to help me imporve my buisiness, not just sign up another customer.
What do you like best?
I appreciated the hands-on care and guidance through this process. I never felt rushed, everyone was SO patient with me. Our company 401k is very important to us, and even though we are small and just getting started, everyone at Ubiquity took the time to help educate us on our options and the impacts of our decisions. We work very hard for our money - and I want to see as much of these earnings stay with the company and our employees.
What do you dislike?
No complaints. Feel like we really lucked into the right vendor. We contacted several other companies like Guideline and felt like were were just a number.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely do your homework. Ther are several vendors online selling 401k options to small businesses. Don't just jump on the first proposal you get. Find a company that's interested in your growth. New is not always better - make sure the team you are working with has the experience your company needs.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Trying to solve what initially felt like an overwhelming task - finding a benefit for employees that really mattered AND understanding the tax benefits as a small business owner. It's been great for employee morale to implement benefits that matter.
