What do you like best?
I love the way each column can be searched independently and the way the database retrieves results. It searches quickly and there is even a soundex feature. It is highly compatible with excel and even double stacked rows cross-over cleanly. Everything is laid out logically, and it is an incredibly versatile and powerful tool. With Trunao the entirety of our organization (2,700+) can access records in our databases, but we maintain strict control over the content. It is also great that there is a 'run a report' feature as well so that we can circulate complete or incomplete backup copies of the database when necessary.
What do you dislike?
Occasional the administrative side of the program glitches, though it is not intrusive and can easily be fixed if one refreshes or logs out and back in. The public side (databases generated) never have this problem, so it is a non-issue.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We need to organize a large amount of records - and make them publicly accessible in a tidy database format. Trunao is far superior to excel in search-ability, and an added perk is that It gives us greater control of our information. A member of the public cannot download all records in a large database - then have and upload the records elsewhere (I suppose they could in batches of 200 but they would be futile with large databases).
