TPM a worthwhile productivity tool for item setup and maintenance
What do you like best?
We've been using a component of the MDM Suite, TPM, for several years now. It has improved our productivity when performing the arduous task of creating items, bills of material, and sourcing rules.
What do you dislike?
Same as with all software tools, it's not always convenient to upgrade TPM in order to leverage new capability and functionality. Fortunately, Triniti's consulting team helps ease the pain of upgrading.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Triniti Master Data Management solution is evolving to also include customer master data setup and maintenance. We are currently planning to manage customer data and setup across multiple enterprise applications using the MDM tool. The MDM tool is a significant improvement over managing common data in disparate systems.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
By utilizing TPM, we're able to setup and maintain master data quicker, easier, and with less resources. The graphical user interface also helps us improve data quality versus using Oracle forms alone.
