Advanced user of Torque3DEasy to use for a beginner. Hardware requirements aren't too crazy so you don't need to have a powerhouse computer to run it. Very good for prototyping new concepts and new levels. Also a pretty flexible engine. Can create nearly anything your mind can come up with.
Not as powerful as other engines out there like Unreal. Not really an engine where you'll be creating groundbreaking AAA titles.
Do not expect to release technologically advanced AAA games using this engine. It is a very good engine to release indie titles and as a teaching tool.
Torque3D is actually a very easy and cheap tool for teaching newcomers on the basics of game design and development. Highly recommended for educational purposes and for indie game development where budget might be an issue.
