Good Product - I see a great future for ThreatCop!
What do you like best?
Nice Tool!
Very user-friendly. For the first campaign, the product literally handholds you step-by-step all the way.
The templates have a very nice flow, with the email template, followed by the Landing Page and followed by Instant Awareness. Though some options do not exactly work the way they are supposed to, I believe those minor issues will be fixed shortly.
Barring the DNS and Firewall/email IP whitelisting part, you can set up a campaign in less than 3-5 minutes! One of the smoothest and easiest interfaces I have worked with.
The multilingual option is very easy, just pick the language from the drop-down and the entire interface changes. I suppose the system auto translates and I had a good laugh at some of the translations from English to my language:) On the whole, it works.
What do you dislike?
Small Quirks which I believe will get resolved sooner than later.
Interface related issues. Small button changes, here and there.
Some of the workflow could be improved, like what can be done and how it can be done. As an example, an error in a list upload requires a delete/re-upload of the list. It could be done by editing the issue rather than re-uploading the entire list.
Templates could be improved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have only worked with the phishing module.
Threat cop has 5 Attack Vectors, Phishing, Ransomware, Smishing, Vishing and Cyber Scam. I would recommend to work with all the modules. I am yet to check this out.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The solution to real 'Problematic Problems'!
All organizations driven by a process create an Employee Awareness Program. However, just taking a paper-based test or an MSQ based test cannot guarantee that the employee really grasped anything.
What I have generally observed, employees just breeze through such training, have a quick bite, and off they go.
This tool could turn out to be a nightmare to those 'Information Security Awareness Training Providers' which, especially in COVID times, seem to have sprung up all around. This tool actually gives you a proof of the pudding. Test the employees in real-time and without them knowing, and that is the time, you get to know the depth of training.
