Could be great with some refinement
What do you like best?
I like that I can (mostly) set it and forget when using my Teampay card for recurring charges.
Reviewing expenses from my team using their Slackbot is pretty seamless.
What do you dislike?
Getting approval for a charge using the Slackbot still feels cumbersome after using Teampay for nearly a year. Additionally, waiting for approval on a specific amount of money pre-spend definitely slows me down. Finally, any minor deviations from approved spend will result in the charge getting rejected which creates management headaches.
The (overreliance) on Slack also feels like a weak point; I always feel like their website was an afterthought in terms of usability. I do wonder what will happen with Slack being acquired by Salesforce and how that will affect the core product experience of Teampay.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Managing recurring spend is (generally) much easier with Teampay versus seeking reimbursement. If Teampay could better handle minor deviations, my life would be even easier. I feel like I have an easier team reviewing my team's expenses as well.
