What do you like best?

Synchro is very quick to learn, handles a large number of model formats and the performance is very fast on complex models. It can stand on its own a scheduling software, so you don't have to rely another program to create / modify your schedules.

What do you dislike?

It can take some time to really grasp how resource trees are setup. Setting up the synchronization with some version of Primavera Project Planner can be time consuming as well.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get in touch with the Synchro team and try it out. The depth of features is very surprising and their support, including the free Synchro Academy, is great. I have never had a reason to complain with their support.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Visualizing a project schedule can be tricky; with the right models Synchro makes it easy. It's an incredibly useful tool for project planning and scheduling. Once a project has used Synchro, they're very unlikely to want to use anything else.
