What do you like best?

The user-facing functionality is good. Managing locations, and the import management provided through the Power add-on, all work well. The administrative settings that the plugin provides, and the ability to customize the appearance of the plugin through the "plugin styles" that are available to choose through the admin or the ability to create your own plugin style if you have a developer, have also suited us well. The plugin will automatically determine the latitude and longitude of new locations that you add via the Google API, which also saves time.

What do you dislike?

Most of the add-ons are on the expensive side, and the way things are organized with regard to the add-ons and the add-on store is a little bit confusing. Also, the plugin's administrative user interface is perfectly adequate, but it is rather jarring compared to the normal WordPress administration styles. It would be nice to provide an option that adheres to the traditional WordPress administration styles.

The functionality that Store Locator Plus provides is solid. If you're in need of this functionality and are looking for a turn-key solution, give it a try.

Store Locator Plus provides functionality to our websites that allows potential customers to find a suitable location near them from a database containing hundreds of locations throughout the US. Developing this functionality from scratch would be expensive and time-consuming, and not having it at all would be detrimental to the site's user experience.
