Stensul is the ultimate time saver for this marketer
What do you like best?
If your organization is like mine, you don't have an email developer on hand. Creating emails using the Marketo WYSIWYG is not easy, especially if you have old templates that have been slightly updated by different people in different times for years.
Stensul makes building emails not only easy but much more efficient. Some things will seem minor, but when you add it all up, it really is a huge time saver. For example: not having to copy and paste email copy to Notepad before putting it into the email editor; automatically adding UTM tags to links; easily add, delete, or move modules; cropping images directly in the tool.
We also have some of our field marketers building their own emails in stensul and they have said numerous times that it is so much easier to build in stensul than in Marketo. Which means less issues for me to troubleshoot for them :)
In addition, building new modules is also very easy and I say this as someone who is not an email developer.
Lastly, I found the onboarding to be easy and customer support to be very responsive.
What do you dislike?
It did take some time to figure out how to create new modules as they didn't have any documentation available. But my CSM gave me great training and was always available to hop on a quick call when I had a question or couldn't remember a step.
From a functionality perspective, I wish I could add a dark overlay to images within the tool if needed.

It's worth the investment. It has really saved me so much time.
