SpreadsheetWeb is a no-code platform developed for business users working with Microsoft Excel. It helps businesses translate their collective Excel expertise into robust web applications with limited reliance on IT resources. The SpreadsheetWEB platform empowers ordinary Excel users to create secure, responsive, database-driven applications directly from their Excel spreadsheets. By transforming the data collection mechanism from individual file-based spreadsheets into structured databases while maintaining the formula structure, the system provides a higher level of governance for critical information. Combined with built-in workflow and reporting capabilities, SpreadsheetWEB offers an end-to-end platform for business users seeking to create and manage their own web applications.

The biggest distinction of SpreadsheetWeb from other no-code platforms is its ability to maintain and execute Excel formulas in the application. This saves users from learning a new language to program their business logic. They can use the entire formula structures in their Excel spreadsheets and execute them from the web application without any modifications.

As the calculation model evolves, users can continue relying on their familiarity with the Excel platform to perform modifications. With support for over 450 Excel formulas, SpreadsheetWeb can execute even the most complex Excel-based workbooks.

The Most Cost-Effective No-Code Platform for Excel That I've Encounterd

What do you like best?

Before selecting SpreadsheetWeb I evaluated many competitive products. I found SpreadsheetWeb to be optimal for my needs. The platform is robust and reliable, and it supports almost all of the Excel functions I use regularly. The UI is very flexible but, of course, has a learning curve to overcome (see below). However, technical support is very responsive and extremely helpful.

I also appreciate the many examples and templates they have to offer. In many cases, I was able to overcome difficulties by loading and running the examples to learn how to achieve the functionality I needed.

What do you dislike?

Like all no-code apps, there is a learning curve to overcome. But, as mentioned above, technical support is very responsive and helpful when I have questions. One area I have yet to master is the use of style sheets. More examples and tutorials on how to do this would be helpful, such as a use case for style sheets.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I developed an application that assists users in selecting the optimal vendor for the services they need. This reduces the need for direct communication between me and my clients, and allows me to easily monetize the services I provide.

Also, it is easy to incorporate suggestions may by my clients. I simply make the changes in functionality in the underlying Excel workbook, upload the latest version to SpreadsheetWeb, and make adjustments to the I/O as needed.
