User in Staffing and Recruiting
Advanced user of SovrenTheir technology affords you an opportunity...a means to do what you do at a higher level, more efficiently, more effectively...than ever before.
It's absolutely imperative that you understand what this technology/software is and what it isn't. It isn't a standalone product. You MUST use it with a CRM or an ATS. It is constantly referred to as 'a set of APIs'. Most of us are not programmers, and wouldn't know an API from an XYZ. But it does't stop there. YOU, that is to say your programmer, your developer MUST do the work of integrating these APIs with your ATS or CRM or whatever else you desire to integrate/use it with. There is a demo website, where you can 'try the technology out', but it can't be a tool that you can use in your normal process unless YOU/your programmer/developer do the work of integrating it into your process.
When you talk to these people about their product (or people with similar products) make sure you have your developer present in the discussion, and do everything you can to understand what your responsibilities are to make this product useful. Study everything you can on their website. Have your developer study it. Find out if your ATS/CRM has something called on 'open API' and have your developer study that information, as well. All of you...ask a lot of questions. Know what you're buying. Know what you absolutely must do on your end to make it possible for you to get the most from this technology.
Sovren acclerates the process of sourcing and identifying the best prospects for a job opportunity. It is a tool that can be molded to help you find and contact the best talent before your competition does. It uses a lot of clever technology to accomplish this...stuff we're all hearing more and more of these days....AI, machine learning, natural language recognition, semantic taxonomies.
