Powerful Plugin to explode any 3D object in open source

What do you like best?

I like it because it is very secure, versatile, I can save any type of information and share it between multiple platforms, as well as link multiple accounts between all my devices. Supports a variety of formats and systems, the information stored in this digital tool will always be protected.

As an architecture student, I like it because it is efficient, and manageable, it can be used not only in 3D printers but also in CNC cutting machines, be it in laser cutting in wood, plastic, the material corresponding to your equipment, and it also supports various formats, the ones I recommend using the most are STL, OBJ and POV.

I have repeatedly used this working tool, integrated into some architectural softwares, since it is the best plugin for the cutting of my 3D models, and later for the sequence of models from the university. It is very useful and effective, according to the use you give it.

What do you dislike?

The main disadvantage is that this plugin does not allow us to print directly from its software and you have to resort to using other programs to print the 3D exploded view. Among other qualities, it can only be printed or cut, extruding the mesh to more than 1mm, but it breaks or becomes very weak and you have to edit the modeling that has angles similar to that thickness, recalibrate and do everything again so that you have a optimal printing or cutting. Also if you are going to import / export in STL format you must have a PRO graphics card, but it will take a lot of time, which can be invested in other

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I 100% recommend using Slic3r with Sketchup, specifically for CNC cutting machines, it guarantees impressive results

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have Slic3r installed on all my devices and softwares, since it is extremely powerful and reduces my cutting and printing time compared to others. I would not change it for anything, the smallest details it has, are solvable. Among the most important benefits are: reduction of time, investment in other programs with the same functions but as there is none, and to highlight I consider that this plugin is much more efficient to use on CNC cutting machines than on 3D printers themselves.
