Data and Workflow Centric SEO Platform
What do you like best?
The amount of data the seoClarity brings into the platform is impressive. The daily ranking data, GSC, Analytics Integration, Logfile integrations, etc., really allow us to find opportunities to drive our program forward.
Their customer serivce is solid. We have never had a single person complain about their customer service. That's not something you can say about most SaaS platforms.
What do you dislike?
seoClarity takes ques from the SEO community to drive its product road map. As such, the reporting dashboards are always a little behind industry standards. They are functional for 90% of use cases, and they have come a long way with integrations into Tabalue (via BQ/AWS) and Data Studio. If you are reporting to a group of people that is more about sizzle than the stake, then you will need to push seoClarity into a different reporting tool.
The only other complaint I receive from my stakeholders is that they are not sales-focused enough. No one likes to be nickeled and dimed, and seoClarity is very anti-sales-push. However, their friendly consultative style sometimes leaves growth and thought leadership opportunities behind.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Company personality and platform personality are significant considerations when onboarding a platform. seoClarity works best with teams focused on data and exacution. They are easy to work with, easy to integrate with, and easy to navigate. The group focused on getting stuff done will like seoClarity. Teams that need a polished sales pitch to help sell the importance of SEO, seoClarity, or your team's mission will struggle with seoClarity. They are an intelligent, helpful company, not a salesforce-driven company. You need to know which your organization needs to be successful.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
One of the most significant issues we solve in our organization is having all SEO data in one location in order to allow for ease of analzing data. This is on and building workflows associated with that data harvisting and drive insight for the business.
The other fundamental challange we have is orginization of tasks. We need centralized workflows in order to be as efficient as possible.
