What do you like best?

Sure, I could search for all of this for free through Edgar. But the time saved using this tool is worth the cost. Easy and flexible filtering tools on the search page. The Boolean operators have an easy to access 'Search Syntax' link by the field. This has made searching for common names much more manageable. The results page is the best part though. The layout with sorting options, a variety of viewing options (pdf, html, Word, etc), and a quick view showing how the results matched with your search terms makes it so much easier to scan the results.

Also, a shout out to the team and especially Steve who has been a fantastic and responsive partner in getting set up any questions we've had.

What do you dislike?

Dislike is too strong of a word. Any issues that I have had were fixed because they are fantastic.

If anything, I'd call it more like two wishes or requests (because, again, they are great and I really haven't found anything to dislike):

First, that the filtering button in the results let me set it a certain way. It always returns results sorted by relevance and I always change that first thing to date descending.

Also, I really wish is that they had Pre-93 SEC reports.Assuming this is even possible... But I bet my organization would pay more for it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Try searching EDGAR's historical SEC database and compare it to searching here. Try searching by company and board members, especially those with common names or who have a lot of SEC 4 reports. Then try manipulating the results in each program (hint: you can't in EDGAR).

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Common name searches are easier with their search field syntax. Faster use of results; especially with ability to open in needed format for intended use or sharing. Monitoring current constituents and watching for new constituents with filing alerts. This product enables us to spend more time on understanding the data than searching and sifting through the results.
