SDL Passolo

What do you like best?

Easy to use, for those who already have experience with Trados it is even easier as it is similar but Trados Studio has more features

What do you dislike?

I think Passolo is a little bit more difficult than Trados for those who are already used to it. I also miss features I can find in Trados Studio like machine translator interface + formats allowed and compatibility with MemoQ

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is always good to work with a translation software as it always helps to have a better view of the segments, in case of repetitions they are automatically displayed and in case of similar segments it makes the translation of those easier as well. Passolo can be considered as well but it would be among my top 3 translation tools

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I just used Passolo when a specific client asked me to do it. I have it installed in my computer but mainly use other tools. I have Passolo installed in my computer but is more difficult to find trainings online and more information on this tool than for example about Trados and MemoQ
