What do you like best?

SAP GRC gave us a sophisticated way of producing a Global Repository whilst helping out finance department reduce the number of controls.

Deploying this helped our managers gain confidence as they had complete visibility of all the controls that were deployed and the results they were bringing back.

What do you dislike?

As with most sophisticated systems, it took us a long time to deploy it. As there are many considerations and factors to bring in - deployment was a lengthy process.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Potentially the most powerful tool on the market - make sure you have an in-house team that specialises in this area before deploying.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had two main areas to solve when rolling out SAP GRC:

- Maximize scalability, consistency, and reliability of control performance and compliance reporting

- Implement an automated, manage-by-exception, self-documenting monitoring process to reduce internal control efforts and improve business process performance
