Advanced user of Salesforce Government CloudBeing a cloud base program we really appreciate the access and universal views we can create. With us working in a Government space one of the BIGGEST benefits is the amount of security the program offers. We use all the restriction pieces like the controls of where you can and cannot log in from as well has times the system can be accessed. That feature alone helps the admin team truly manage who has access and when they have access. We also appreciate the ability to create custom objects so your niche needs can be met in more detail.
Salesforce is constantly growing and evolving. The 2 updates a year make it hard to dislike anything because if you have a recommendation they will consider adding it. Several things we were not happy with like user limits on certain profiles, the updates have addressed and corrected those items.
You get what you pay for so be aware you may see other CRMs that are less expensive but the features are not as robust as Salesforce Government Cloud. This program is worth every penny. To set yourself up for success, make sure you have a strong on-boarding team.
Being able to have better controls on how to track our clients and their activity has been a huge relief. It's increased our productivity. Internally we have also been able to track our user performance more efficiently. The log-in restrictions helped to keep employees from taking advantage of time by saying they were working from home. We now only allow specific long on times if you are not in a restricted IP address area. Also the procurement management has been a big benefit.
