Great for Smaller Organizations
What do you like best?
Have been using NWS ERP since 2011. Initial support has been great when needed. WIth the 2018 version of New World ERP, this will allow the product to no longer be legacy locked with Internet Explorer. The support for multi -browsers will be a welcome addition to the product. The new Managed Internet Update tool is also a godsend for ensuring updates to the platform can be provided in a more efficient manner.
What do you dislike?
When Tyler purchased New World Systems, there were some integration issues to how best to support the product. This showed itself when trying to keep track of tickets as well as ensuring they are followed up on. This is supposed to be improved with the 2018 release.
The limitation of only using IE as a supported browser has long hampered the product. With the "Unibrow" project coming with 2018, this will expand the usability of the product.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Reporting, such as Business Analytics and SSRS can be a very powerful tool in the hands of a user familiar with using it. However, more training does need to be provided.
