Salad activates the idle compute resources of the world’s gaming PCs. Our users (or “Chefs”) turn a wealth of dormant processing power into the rewards they want—including Steam games, digital subscriptions, in-game loot, gift cards, and more—on the web’s most trusted “AFK-for-pay” marketplace.

We leverage the Ethereum blockchain to help you get the most profit from your PC. To date, our users have redeemed over 60,000 digital and real-world items, and contributed thousands of charitable contributions to organizations across the world.

Over 400 million gaming PCs sit idle for 22 hours a day. With Salad, that’s 11 minutes of pay for every minute of play.

Really strange company.

What do you like best?

It's a nice and easy to use cryptominer. It allows me to easily get rewards like Discord Nitro, gift cards from Amazon, Visa cards and more.

What do you dislike?

They absolutely mistreat their staff and treat their userbase as underage workers by getting them to make their social media banners (Reddit) and paying them $2 in their own fake currency called "Salad Balance" which can be exchanged for things like gift cards, they'd only get paid if they left a review on here, and promising that one person would get a Razer keyboard if people left a bunch of positive reviews on Google Maps.

I am an individual, not someone who works at a company. This product is designed for individuals. They have gotten their userbase to go through reviews on here, which is extremely shady. I wouldn't recommend using this product for any reason, considering they literally are using their userbase as workers.

I used to work there as a Support Assistant, and we weren't treated very well. A big part of the job was trying to convince people that the software was real by linking fancy "everything is fine, whitelist us in your antivirus" pages. We all got paid $20/month and were not asked to sign any kind of NDA, and I'm fairly sure that at least a few of us were foreign minors working for them below minimum wage.

Their support representative was really rude to us, and would instantly send us a notfiication if we made a tiny mistake. It was honestly quite stressful. They were planning to move us from their Discord to their forums once, but when I asked their support representative about it, they were completely silent and I was told I was going to get more information as needed.

I once had an issue with Windows where it would insist their miners couldn't run on my PC, to which they told me to whitelist it in my antivirus, as I had already done when I first started using the software. I told them this, to which they ghosted me and I never got a response back.

I've since been fired from their company, but I hope this review encourages you to not use their softawre.
