The solution, flexibility, and ux was better than what's on the tin
What do you like best?
Good out of the box solution for Incident Management, which, with strong configuration ability we delivered a great solution for our business at relatively low cost.
What do you dislike?
Sometimes there seems few people with the right knowledge to assist with things, but that may be a reflection of our very small scale and geographic isolation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One thing you need to be sure of is to be really clear what your use cases are. There are a lot of SAI solutions and sometimes the names of those do not necessarily line up with what you would expect them to actually do. I would also say, and this is a general statement regardless of SAI - do not customise. Configuration is so extensive inside the BWise solution there's masses you can do to make the UX and setup a good one without expensive and future-limiting customisation.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We took control of Incident Management from a multi-jurisdictional, rigid, loathed system. We have strong ROI in terms of time wasted on bespoke reporting, infinitely greater control, ability to configure to an amazing degree (e.g. custom emails to users based on what WE deem important), and essentially self-determination in owning our own solution, but one that is almost out-of-the-box in terms of nearly no customisation (making it much easier to be supported).
