What do you like best?

I like Rubycampus because it's all-in-one. It allows scheduling, human resource management, student management and even allows extensive customization based on your institution's needs. Its also super user friendly with great support. It also helps with finances in your college and tracks you can track literally everything from one place.

What do you dislike?

It's not equally useful for every type of college and sometimes doesn't do scheduling well. I've seen cases where it leaves a little to be desired when scheduling classes and especially managing class sizes. It also includes some features by default like parent-teacher collaboration which are not relevant to colleges everywhere. The free version is not very good, but the paid versions are excellent. It's cheap though.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I'd recommend Rubycampus to schools and colleges with large class sizes where scheduling is a headache. For small colleges, I think there are better free alternatives. If your employer pays for it, however, use one of the paid versions and that's awesome.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used it to schedule exams, classes and manage educational finances at a college in India. We used the free version most of the time and the paid version for a little while. The benefits were appreciable most of the time, especially because it allowed us to manage everything from one place.
