What do you like best?

It is easy to input data (odometer readings from state or province border crossing and let ProMiles Fuel Tax calculate the miles for you) and the best part is the map tool to manually trip miles if drivers do not provide efficient miles. So mapping based on highways given with this map tool is extremely useful. The software also includes support for States with special requirements like New York, Idaho, Massachusetts Oregon and all Mile Tax states. This makes life that much easier when inputting data for trucks that travel across many states and jurisdictions.

What do you dislike?

The worst thing with Promiles is if you make a little mistake the program closes on you randomly and you have to reboot and login to then restart what you were doing because it does not save what you were working on automatically. The software program is also glitchy with things like general saving of your work - sometimes you have to click a couple tabs and then try saving again before it actually saves your work.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you can get past some of the odd glitches and saving your work issues, the program simplifies many data entry tasks on one platform, especially when working with large fleets of trucks. For its overall purpose and price, the program is a great tool and the company is moving in the right direction on fixing some of these issues, although slowly.

ProMiles generate several useful reports by truck, group of trucks, or an entire fleet. Reports include: IFTA Reports, Mile Tax Reports, Single State Registration, Miles Per Gallon Reports, IRP Reports, Equipment Reports, Audits.
