What do you like best?

Easy interface. Thats the only plus here.

What do you dislike?

The certified partner program is a joke. They do not extend any warranty so you will end up just having to buy new gear if it breaks and it will. They dont send any statement of any kind. Just charge your card!

The door controllers have to see the cloud node to work, If not the end user is screwed! We have many properties that have multiple buildings and when a switch , router, cable or anything goes down the doors will not open. Those 4am calls of residence locked out of their buildings are getting old.

Due to PJ @ PDK not warrantee 12 or so door controllers and a cloud node all under warranty costing us thousands we have chosen to make a switch to Open Path. If a connection is lost their controllers allow 70k events before they shut down, giving you time to roll a van. Warranty is said to be seemless without paying 1000 to be a partner that really does nothing!

This is a sad choice because we liked PDK in the beginning. Moving our clients at the cost of equipment will save us time and money in the long run!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

None. We are washing our hands and moving forward.
