Makes my productized service business easier and predictable
What do you like best?
ProcessKit is built for businesses like mine. If you have gone through the hassle of building and documenting your processes, you need a tool like this one. You basically store your processes in ProcessKit and then trigger new projects from it.
This makes your projects easy to follow and execute. You always have a clear view of what's happening with each client and your team gets a clean task list they need to work on every day. Each task has a set of instructions coming from your processes. It doesn't get easier than that.
The app is very flexible in adapting to any process you have and it has automation features that help you move the work forward without you having to babysit projects or micromanage your team. Like notifying others, updating due dates, showing/not showing certain tasks based on how the project is going. It takes a lot of busywork off my plate.
What do you dislike?
Setting it all up takes a bit of time. It's not that the software is not easy to use, but you have to understand how your processes work and then start "building" them inside ProcessKit. The easier your processes, the easier is going to be for you to set them up inside the tool.
I suggest starting with a very simple processes to get the hang of it. Once you get how the tool works, create one of your core processes. At this point you'll see how much value and saved time you get from it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Brian, the founder at ProcessKit is great at helping you set up and making you feel he cares about your success. If you can get on a call with him before setting up, you should! He has a lot of experience around building processes and it will make your onboarding easier.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
I run a productized service. This means every client we sign up goes through a very similar process. The meetings are always the same, the research is the same, the delivery is the same. And I've documented a process for each step of the work.
ProcessKit is FAN-TAS-TIC for businesses like mine. It combines processes and projects helping you do the work with minimal brain power. If your work is repeatable, ProcessKit saves you time, stress and helps deliver work consistently.
