Advanced user of PIMSYPIMSY allows you to create an electronic patient record for each patient, archive closed patients, create EDE Statements for electronic billing, generates invoices for client statements, and has a useful scheduler. It also computes Payroll and can hold a database of all employees and their pertinent information for HR purposes.
The software can be clunky, often loads sluggishly. However, there Help team is pretty responsive (usually hear back within a few hours) and the problem is usually solved quickly. I do feel that the team is open to suggestions for improvements and they do listen to their customers.
I think PIMSY provides a great base for small healthcare practices, it allows you to maintain an electronic record, bill insurance, generate payroll, and so much more.
It maintains all client data electronically (all forms are easily scanned directly into the software) and it tracks payroll for the doctors. It also tracks client balances. It maintains our "HR Folder" of Employee information, which can only be accessed by administrators. It generates our Payroll.
