I enjoy using this platform - it's simple and highly efficient
What do you like best?
It's a one-stop shop for what's needed. You can input orders, order meds, view prescription history, write notes, run reports, and etc. It also tells you the end date of the prescription so you can easily tell if the client needs a refill or if you need to do further triaging. One of my favorite features on Order connect are being able to run several reports that allow you to catch the small things and the process of ordering meds because it is so simple. When I originally started using the platform, I was not intimidated because the system is simple to navigate and it takes you step-by-step so you can figure it out as you go.
What do you dislike?
There is not much I dislike about this platform, but I sometimes wish there was an easier way to connect the medication to the specific diagnosis on the med profile pop-up. In addition, I do not like when I change the search engine to look for clients based on their client number and when I close the client's chart it automatically resets back to name. A suggestion I would have is all for the last manual search to be kept as the default until the consumer changes it on their own. I think another critique would be the face of the program, updating the home screen may be helpful.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
The efficiency of getting orders sent out and not duplicating work by viewing the notes on the med profile page. I like that it is a one-stop shop for the medications and you can access pharmacy, primary care, and lab testing. However, I dislike the program is a bit outdated and can be slow. I think working on polishing the appearance of the program would be beneficial. This may also help with the overall speed of the program.
