It was not difficult to figure out, and did what I wanted, but crashed fairly often

What do you like best?

I was unable to find anything else that could do what OpenJump can, for free

What do you dislike?

I had to save often, and changes were often lost.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Definitely worth trying out. It's been a couple of years since I used it, so I can't speak for the current status of software stability, but I found saving often was a major necessity. Keep backups. Otherwise it was perfect for what I needed. I could rearrange the borders of postal codes, remove/add borders, map them out do data (postal code title, population, etc) and use that information in TileMill to create a stylized, interactive map to embed in a website.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was adjusting a map of postal codes to match the current borders, using an old map
