Odoo Rental allows companies to keep track of all rental processes in one place. All stages, from quotation to invoicing, are easily tracked with this easy-to-use, super intuitive solution.

In the latest version, users can create a rental quote from the CRM app, simply by clicking “Create Rental.” They can also rent a product from the Gantt view, and warn users if the product is rented. Odoo 14 also added serial numbers to the rental analysis report. You can check product availability, as well.

Create your rental order, schedule, delivery, return, and invoice all from one single view. Get all the information you need, directly on the rental order, itself. And, with the real-time overview feature, you can keep an eye on the availability of your products and serial numbers from a convenient Gantt view. It just doesn’t get better than this!

Great insights into where equipment is

What do you like best?

It's great to keep track where everything is, what is being picked up and where it's going as well as what should be returned. This allows for smooth follow up, and avoids items disappearing.

What do you dislike?

Somehow it's not yet so easy to have the planning tool visible to everyone. Also the rental could be more planning oriented for managing reservations in the future (proposing what device to use etc).

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We lost some rental equipment and didn't have good visibility where everything was. This also avoids miscommunication with customers as we always send a quote and or confirmation now. That way it's clear what the cost is.
