The Odoo Field Service app allows you to easily manage your work days from anywhere on any device. The days of needing to install software, or worrying about device compatibility, are long gone! Simply open your web browser and get your work done. It’s really that easy.

In our latest version, users can add products tracked by lots or serial numbers to tasks, indicate the number of products used during a visit in one click, and all Field Service tasks that are generated from a Sales Order now refer to the delivery address of the customer. There’s also been a unification of the form views of Project tasks and Field Service tasks to ensure a smoother workflow.

Users can schedule appointments, assign tasks to employees, plan the daily itinerary, track working times, send quotes, and invoice customers – all in one fully-integrated, easy-to-use solution.

Easy integration and follow up for large teams.

What do you like best?

The upside of this app is integration with various other modules. It only needs little adjustments to adapt to specific cases but coming from CRM to confirmed sales order automatically creating a Task in project that can be taken on by technicians in the Field Service modules skips a lot of manual steps wasting precious time.

What do you dislike?

When billing a finished Field Service case invoice is split into 2 parts. One for labor and one for products. This takes a little while to get used to.

Adding products to Field Service is not always easy without the right gear and can be slow at some times.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Take a tour, try the app there are chances you will love it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Field Service task are created automatically from Sales orders or can be manually added. When these demands can come from different teams and persons having everything ending up in the same place leave little room for mistakes. The follow up on spent hours and/or products is perfect for analysis or even in case of discussion with the customer. Everything is kept and can be traced back.

In short, better track record, better follow up and less time consuming.
