What do you like best?
Octopus CRM is a fraction the price of competing Linkedin outreach and data mining tools. For tens of dollars a month you get the same funtionaliy as other services charging hundreds of dollars. It is intuitve to use and when I have reached out for support they were thorough and reasonably quick considering the time-zone difference. They offer a free trial and low cost month by. month subscription. Try it, you'll like it.
What do you dislike?
Not a dislike, but the only missing feature is the ability to "blaklist" contacts from messaging. There are some contacts that I wish to keep, but don't want to messae any longer. During Covid this became particulary acute as some contacts were laid off/furloughed. They will get positions again but in the mean time it is insentive to bulk messaging them with messages related to their previous position. One of the great features of Octopus CRM is the ability to create drip camaigns, but finding and removing indivduals is not easy. A blacklist woudl solve that problem.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Great for cold prospecting on Linkedin and follow-up messaging. It has also proven to be an easy way to export my connetion list including the email addresses of Contacts. It lets me then run follow-up email campaings for those that use work email or Facebook retargeting campaings for those that use their personal email addresses.
