ESCAPE & ObjectStore - Engineering Systems for Computer Aided Plant Engineering

What do you like best?

I's Performance and useability. It makes life easy for a developer of multi-user-systems.

What do you dislike?

The price-model. Don't know how this looks like today. Developer versions should be cheap, because it's the end user application that makes the money.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We used ObjectStore for the mother of all integrated modelbased engineering systems for the development of complex electronic/electric systems, ESCAPE. It's predecessor CAPE/C, also based on Objectstore, has been used to develop almost every second tram or metro in europe.
