What do you like best?

Prompt customer service. Nexgen is always available for support and willing to creatively solve problems to make the software work for the customer.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it feels very geared toward inventory based management and can be a little clunky when navigating the other modules. Nexgen continues to publish improvements to streamline data collection and the user experience and the end product continues to improve in this area.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The key to any CMMS implementation is strategy. Most software suites will meet the basic needs of any asset management program. Finding a company that shares your vision of the program and can help strategize a successful deployment is key.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Asset Management. We're looking to proactively manage our assets and use data to drive capital improvements and budgeting decisions. The goal is to move from reactionary to a more planned, methodical approach to maintaining our field assets.
