What do you like best?
I love the flexibility that MobileCause provides us and their customer support i s top notch. They are always very responsive to us. This product gave us everything we were looking for at an affordable cost. It is perfect for our organization.
What do you dislike?
One complaint I have had about MC is that on a very crucial day it was down for a long period of time. I was frustrated but I also understood how that could happen and they tried to make sure they kept their clients in the loop about what was going on and sent out apologies after the crisis was over. Other than that one day, the system and its support team have never failed or disappointed us. The only other complaint I have is that reporting is not as easy as I would like for it to be, especially the ability to save output for a report. Once you have several campaigns going and custom forms, your reporting has a ton of fields that you have to look through and choose from, making things cumbersome at times.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We host our everyday giving form through MobileCause and we are able to crowdfund for specific things now, which we have never cleanly been able to do. We have also been able to host a couple of giving days, which was also not something easily done before MobileCause. We have tested the texting feature on a control group to see what responses we would get and found some success with that as well. Having the flexibility that MC gives us and being able to do everything ourselves, in-house, has been such a big deal and cost saver for us.
