Advanced user of Microsoft Teams RoomI love that whenever I schedule a meeting in Teams, it automatically adds the link to it. Also, once you join the meeting, it tells others that you've entered it. The chat feature of the room is excellent and versatile. Plus, if one is in an existing meeting and wants to add another person, you can search for them in the room and call them in!
Also, you can share audio when you're sharing your screen. This makes it easier to share video content with others and it can be done on the same screen where you choose which screen you wish to share. Unlike other platforms where you need to search for it on the settings sections - which can lead to some troubleshotting or technical difficulties if the user is not tech-savvy.
We have several forms and automation that require approvals; the activity section can get a bit rowdy. Also, the activity section sends notifications over even if teams is closed. I've yet to find where to turn the notifications off but it can be quite an annoying feature.
If you're a Microsoft Office user, Teams is a great tool for meetings and comes included with 365. Also, it is used at tons of Universities that offer Microsoft Office to their students and faculty.
We use teams for our meetings; it is convenient and easy to use. It helps us stay connected while working remotely. It is very user-friendly, especially the sharing on screens and files. Also, I love the feature that allows you to share audio when sharing the screen, a simply toggle on, and you can ensure the others are hearing as well as you. This is magnificent when sharing video content with the rest of the team.
