Another core part of Mercury ELM is its e-billing and bill review feature, making it easy for your panel counsel to submit invoices through a credentialed portal to the system. When it comes to bill review, our approach isn’t black-and-white. Context is important and we work to uphold and even improve relationships with panel counsel. The “Dispute Resolution Desk” provides a direct communication channel to work through discrepancies quickly and equitably. Reductions and rejections are communicated with panel counsel and the dispute resolution process is completed before submitting finalized invoices directly into the A/P system for approval and processing.

Great for managing all stakeholders involved in claims

What do you like best?

The platform helps us manage our claims, internal counsel and external law firms. It makes it easy for us to allocate the right person to the right claim and tracks it from start to end. One of the best things that we've noticed is the attention provided to us as a client, something which we weren't getting before.

What do you dislike?

I had an issue earlier where I experienced downtime, but that was fixed. Not sure if that was on my end or theirs as I was the only member of the team that had the issue. Not really any dislikes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I highly recommend using Mercury ELM.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It has improved our litigation strategy and has helped us settle claims faster. In addition, the invoice review service has consistently generated savings with helpful reports that show breakdowns of spend and that analyze our different internal and external stakeholders' performance. It's been very helpful and I've felt the impact on my day to day.
